“Laugh...It's the sweetest thing one can do for oneself and one's fellow human beings.”

- Maya Angelou

Professional Background

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley State College, I attended the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University where I earned a M.A. and Psy.D. in Marriage & Family Therapy. The first decade of my career was spent working with youth and families in the public mental health system in Northern California in addition to seeing individual and couples in my private practice. In 2022 I transitioned my private practice to full-time and am licensed as a marriage and family therapist in California, Utah and Maine.

A Little About Me

I was raised in Utah and was fortunate to spend much of my youth near some of the most beautiful places on earth. I enjoy backpacking and being in the wild, tending the garden, riding a bicycle around town, building and tinkering around the house. I reside in beautiful Portland, Maine with my wife and our dog, Rocky. I spend a lot of time thinking about what to cook next and planning my next project.
